HEALING LEGACY

Young people today have increased sensitivity and are exposed to enormous amounts of energy that their energy systems have to hold in balance. So what is our legacy about as a Healing community? What can we do as elders? How do we pass on good sense and procedures to keep safe those who come after us?
In 2025 it is not just about how to access energy – it is about how to stay centered, balanced and grounded in the ocean of energy crashing over us. As professional Healing practitioners working with energy, we ARE the experts in the field to speak to this. If we are going to take our responsibility seriously, and tend to the legacy we can pass on to all of those who will live in an increasingly energetically chaotic and saturated world, we have to talk our walk.
Communicating with integrity
Through the mass communication networks available to all, and the global population reaching nearly 8 billion, it is becoming increasingly important to understand each other. The language we use affects our clarity of communication.
We buy into nominalisations of concepts like LOVE, but the language one person uses does not necessarily have the same meaning for another person. What one person sees as an act of love, another might see as an act of violence.
Communicating with integrity requires self-awareness and self-responsibility. Self-awareness and self-responsibility ARE the route to healing. With greater self awareness, we can assess the integrity of our actions by assessing the energetic yield of those actions. If we speak with LOVE, we will generate LOVE.
What makes us stronger?
LOVE makes us stronger.
The word L O V E is all over social media, but the energy of FEAR is all over social media. In our everyday language, we need to talk about LOVE with our professional integrity. LOVE is a quality of energy, and we can refer to it as such. LOVE is the vibrational frequency of energy that facilitates nourishing transformation, and light is the quality of energy that fuels it.
As we diversify our experiences of energy, and the language we use about different ‘types’ of healing, it is increasingly important that we share some kind of common ground. I suggest that our common ground is the collection of core practices that keep us centred, balanced and grounded in LOVE.
Using energy wisely
Yes it takes more energy to communicate clearly. But that is energy well used. If we become complicit in not bothering to seek, not bothering to define, not bothering to speak... we feed into the assumptions and generalisations that lead to superficial and mis-leading nominalisations of concepts like love, integrity and healing.
As a professional Healing community, we have a responsibility to communicate our message clearly. Let us talk our walk. Let us honour each other’s practice and experience, and work together towards the ‘solution for the highest good of all’. Let us pass that on.
